Katie Lafetra and her former long term partner moved to Las Vegas so Katie could accept a position with a failing cannabis marketing company. Katie Lafetra's former partner did not want to relocate to Las Vegas, it was the last place in the country he wanted to relocate to, but did so to try and be a compromising partner.

Almost immediately his allergies started to really bother him and the extreme dry and hideous wind which kicks up all the desert dust really affected him. He did not sleep for months and Katie knew this, she could hear him struggling to breath at night and after a few months he confronted her and told her he was exhausted from not sleeping and really struggling living there and was very unhappy. What was Katie Lafetras response "just leave then". Yup, after 3 plus years together and knowing he moved to Las Vegas only to accomodate her new job, Katie simply said "just leave then". No offer to help, no "hey I am sorry I dragged us here, lets figure this out together, I know you're struggling". Nothing, simply "Just leave then".

The depressing desert heat and how miserable summers are in Las Vegas just drove her former partner deeper into depression. His favorite time of year has always been summer, but in Las Vegas you sit inside all day due to the oppressive heat.

On August 1st, 2022 Katie Lafetras long term partner (the one who she cheated on) 13.5 year old German Shepherd died in his arms. The dog was having massive seizures, was choking , salivating from his mouth and could not move. Her former partner carried the dog to the car and rushed to emergency medical care. The dog was humanely euthanized an hour later while being held by her former partner. Katies former partner was obviously crushed, this dog was his everything. Rescued him from death row when he was young and spent many hours training a very hard to handle German Shepherd.

Did Katie Lafetra offer support? Nope. Did she ever ask how her former partner was doing, not once. Did she even offer a hug after he exited the euthanasia room, nope. A card, a memento , a kind note? Nothing.

Katie Lafetra never mentioned the incident or the dog again.

A few weeks later after many weeks of soul crushing depression her former partner opened up to her about how this incident brought back memories of how his best friend died in his arms after being shot in the neck in combat. The gurgling, the choking and carrying the body back, all came rushing back. All triggered memories long suppressed.

A Pathological liar

When did Katie Lafetra really start lying to her former partner? Nobody knows, Katie to this day refuses to answer or be accountable for her actions.

Those who lie/deceive you will usually avoid you so they do not have to be accountable or look you in the eyes. Internally , they know their flawed character was exposed.

Lets start with the lies we know about:

1 - Approximately 18 months into their relationship and while on vacation in Hawaii, Katie Lafetras former partner found condoms in her travel bag. When confronted Katie stated "They are for my girlfriends in case they need one when camping". Katies former partner responded "you always told me nobody hooks up on these trips as who wants nasty "camp pussy".

Katie knowing she was caught responded with "why don't you trust me, why can't you just trust me, you are so crazy".

This is common deflection tactic those with narcissistic traits use.

2 - About six months after the first condom incident Katie Lafetras former partner came across MORE hidden condoms.

When Katie opened her wallet when they were together the distinct tin foiled, jagged edge of a condom wrapper was clearly visible in the slot under her identification holder in her wallet. Not wanting to cause a scene Katies former partner did not say anything. He later went to inspect the expiration date on the condom knowing they are valid for 5 years from the date of production. Katies former partner confronted her and she responded "you're acting crazy again, that's been in there for years, I forgot about it". Katie was once again caught lying, the expiration date of the condom was 4.5 years away, meaning the condom was recently purchased and placed into her wallet.

Katie once again deflected with "why are you even looking, can't you just trust me, you are so crazy". This is the literal definition of gaslighting.

So why did Katie have more condoms in her wallet after 2 years of a supposedly exclusive relationship? Well, we now know the answer, but Katie to date has also refused to answer this question.

3- Katie Lafetra stated on several occasions she was climbing with a friend named "Danielle". Well, turns out "Danielle" was really Daniel Hall (the man who later beat her 15lb dog).

When caught lying about "Danielle" really being "Daniel" Katie Lafetra went down a second level lying rabbit hole. She was so panicked she was caught lying, she stated "Daniel Hall" really was a woman named "Danielle", a transvestite, and was transitioning to be a man.

Yup, you read this right, this is the level of lying Katie Lafetra is capable of.

Katie Never Celebrated Her Partners Success

Katies former partner was very hard working, he achieved success in his profession managing and growing his territory to over $25M dollars a year in revenue. Katie Lafetra reaped the rewards of his hard work, she was taken on numerous vacations around the world and never contributed a penny. She was never asked to, her former partner was happy to share the success.

However, when Katie would become angry she would often refer to her partner as "A Rich White Man". This was said in a disrespectful way and always in an attempt to downplay his achievements.

Katies former partner decided to start a side business with a friend, she was there the day the domain was registered and the company created. The money was not needed, was really more for the challenge of creating something from scratch.

After a few months the business started to gain traction, only a few short months later the company landed its first sizeable project with a national home builder, the contract value was for $400K a nice win for a small company just getting going. Her former partner received the email around 6AM and Katie was getting ready nearby.

Katies former partner told her of the great news, a really good deal for the business. Katie Lafetras response "Money just flies into your wallet" while throwing her hands up in the air and walked away.

No congratulations, no hug, no celebration, not even acknowledging how amazing this is for a small company. Simply stated "Money just flies into your wallet".

Katies former partner almost felt as if he did something wrong by achieving success, this is Narcisstic abuse 101

Katie Lafetras former partner hit a milestone in 2022, turned 50 and he advised Katie he wanted to go white water rafting in Yosemite to celebrate. Katie stated "I do not want to board my dog". When her former partner offered to drive her dog five hours to her parents house she replied "That's not fair to my parents, they watch Pancho enough". So Katies former partner went off on his 50th birthday alone.

What did Katie do to celebrate when he returned home, nothing. She bought a slice of cake from grocery store still wrapped in plastic and left on his desk. No card, nothing else, no attempt to spend time, this is classic narcissistic behavior. devalue and ignore.

Ahhh yes, this was very common, here were a few, there were many more, of Katie Lafetras reactions to when her partner had issues with her behavior.

1 - Katies partner found condoms on two separate occasions in her wallet and travel bag (this was long after Katie and her former partner stopped using them)

2- Katies partner was not comfortable with her going on overnight camping trips with other men, some she did not even know.

Katie Lafetras response "So typical of a controlling, insecure man, you should just trust me, why are you so crazy and insecure"

3 - When Katies former partner learned of her cheating and lying.

Katie Lafetras response "He is here because of you, you did this to us". This is very typical of those with narcissistic personality traits blame the other person for their poor decisions.

Katie Lafetra The Cheater

Who believes someone who separated from a three plus year serious relationship and moves in with a new partner three weeks later was not cheating?

Cheating is not just physical! Katie Lafetras former partner ignored the red flags, Katie Lafetra admitted to him she emotionally cheated on her first serious relationship which lasted almost 8 years.

In addition about two years into the relationship Katie Lafetra and her former partner while on a trip to Austin, Texas ran into her ex boyfriend of 8 years who she lived with for years. What did Katie Lafetra do? She completely ignored this person while seated directly across from him on the plane, yup , 100 percent could not even look at him, never even acknowledged the poor guy who was clearly uncomfortable.

One has to wonder, what did Katie Lafetra do to this person where she was so terrified to approach or talk to someone she spent 8 years of her life with.

After struggling for weeks asking Katie Lafetra for an explanation how she could cheat and move in with a 22 year old, unemployed "climber" who lived at home with his mother before shacking up with Katie Lafetra her only response to him:

"Grow up, you act like you're the only person to be ghosted by an ex"

After three plus years and being taken around the world, that is the response from Katie Lafetra.

A person with NPD and narcissistic traits will never , ever answer to their poor behavior. They take the cowards way out and "ghost"
